Castor Oil (Alnor) by Alnor Oil Company acts as a lubricant. It is bio-based, natural oil obtained from the seed of the Ricinus communis or castor plant. It is unique among naturally occurring oils in that it is the only commercially sold oil composed of approximately 85-90% Ricinoleic acid. It has a slight, characteristic odor. Castor Oil (Alnor) also referred to as FSG or #1 and is recommended for ink application.
