allnex Coating Resins Company

CYMEL® UM-15 by allnex is a highly methylated urea resin and acts as a crosslinker. It offers high solids and very fast cure. It is hydrophilic in nature, completely water soluble, and has very good compatibility with water-soluble ionic backbone polymers. CYMEL® UM-15 is used in high solids, low temperature curing systems, like wood and paper coatings. Shows very good compatibility with alkyd, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate, polyvinyl butyral and good compatibility with polyester & acrylic resins. Recommended for foil and textile coatings. The shelf life of the grade is 1440 days.
