CYMEL® 701 resin

CYMEL® 701 resin by allnex is methylated high imino melamine-formaldehyde-based crosslinker. It possesses good aromatic hydrocarbon tolerance, very fast cure response and water dilutability. The reactivity of this resin is high and has high tendency to self-condense, that may be used to increase the hardness and resistance properties of thermoplastic solvent-borne polymers. It does not require strong catalyst. This product shows very good compatibility with acrylic-, alkyd-, epoxy- and polyester resins. CYMEL® 701 resin is used in high solids & water-borne coatings, automotive base coat, coil-coating & metal deco finishes and general-purpose coatings. The shelf life of this product is 360 days.
