CYMEL® 370N resin

CYMEL® 370N resin by allnex is methylated melamine-formaldehyde cross-linking agent with a medium degree of alkylation, a high methylol content and low imino functionality. It possesses fast cure response and good compatibility with water soluble anionic polymers, dispersions and emulsions. It is partially water soluble and has an excellent compatibility with water soluble backbone polymers. The carboxyl functionality of anionic backbone polymers is sufficiently acidic to catalyse the reaction at relatively low temperature curing schedules. This makes CYMEL® 370N resin suitable for a wide range of water-borne industrial stoving finishes. Recommended for general industrial coatings for faster cure, automotive coatings and coil- & container coatings. The shelf life of this additive is 540 days.
