CYMEL® 285-100 resin

CYMEL® 285-100 resin by allnex is a highly alkylated methoxy butoxy melamine-formaldehyde resin-based cross-linking agent. It possesses good salt-spray resistance, good flow & leveling properties, good recoat adhesion and low free formaldehyde. Its high degree of alkylation and high monomer content, it is especially recommended for low VOC systems, those applications requiring high film flexibility, and those systems where recoat adhesion must be optimized. CYMEL® 285-100 resin is designed for water-borne systems. Due to its more hydrophilic nature, high glossy finish film can be achieved for anodic electrodeposition coatings. Recommended for general metal finishes. The shelf life of this resin is 18 months.
