ADDITOL® XW 6586

ADDITOL® XW 6586 by allnex is a very versatile, multipurpose silicone additive (organomodified polysiloxane type) for improved surface quality and substrate wetting. This APEO- & formaldehyde-free grade with zero/low VOC is highly effective at low dosage. It offers faster cycle time, low temperature curing & drying, improved leveling & appearance, surface slip and increased scratch resistance. It reduces friction and has no negative impact on re-coatability and inter-layer adhesion. ADDITOL® XW 6586 has wide compatible spectrum in most pigmented, transparent or clear water-based, solvent-based, high-solid and 100% systems as well as radiation cure (UV-PUD) inks and coatings. It is suitable for liquid industrial-, architectural-, refinish-, marine-, furniture- and special floor coatings and paints. It is used in inkjet-, flexographic-, lithographic-, screen-, gravure inks & overprint varnishes. It is recommended for high gloss formulations. Recommended dosage level is 0.05%-1% on total formulation.
