ACURE™ 500

ACURE™ 500 by allnex is a first generation of blocked catalyst used in ACURE systems. It consists of a strong base which is blocked with di-ethyl carbonate. It unblocks with the release of alcohol and carbondioxide and is the key enabler to the provision of fast dry times with long pot lives in ACURE coatings. It is a clear, low viscosity liquid and is compatible with solventborne systems. Possesses attractive labelling and low odor. ACURE™ 500 is recommended for ACURE based paints, durable coatings for a variety of markets including marine & protective, agricultural, construction, rail and aerospace markets, flooring decorative and wood coatings. It has a shelf life of 1 year at temperatures above -10°C and upto 30°C.
