Afcona -3772

Fluorocarbon modified polyacrylate. Acts as leveling and surface tension reduction agent for aqueous and non-aqueous coatings. Contains some carboxylic acid groups, which increase the polarity of the polymer to give good compatibility with most common resins used in coating. Offers no in can haziness and provides anti-flooding as well as floating. Prevents the craters and orange-peel also helps substrate wetting. Due to it good compatibility, AFCONA – 3772 is recommended mainly for high gloss clear coatings and as anti inner bubble aid for PU coatings. Addition and dosage: 0.3 – 2.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.3 – 0.7% based on total formulation.
