Afcona -3770

Fluorocarbon modified acrylic polymer. Acts as a leveling agent with good defoaming effect and anti-crater working for solvent-based coatings. Prevents the foam formation. Also acts as de-aerator. Improves the substrate wetting. Does not interfere with intercoat adhesion. Used in pack PU coatings, 2 pack epoxies, air drying alkyd paints, all baking enamels, especially coil and can coatings where the defoaming effect is highly needed, matt finish wood coatings. Not suitable for unpigmented high gloss systems, due to the high defoaming effect, it will give in can haziness. Addition and dosage: 0.5 – 2.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.5 – 0.8% based on total formulation.
