Afcona -3700

Afcona -3700 is a polymeric fluorocarbon compound. Acts as a wetting, leveling and flow control agent for solvent-free and solvent-based coatings with excellent anti-crater properties. Possesses very low surface tension and therefore, it can substitute and perform as silicones without the side effects of silicones. Designed for car refinish, plastic paint and industrial coatings. Also used in stoving enamels based on alkyd, acrylic and polyester resins, polyurethane coatings, two-pack epoxy compounds, air-drying alkyd systems and UV coatings. Recommended dosage level of Afcona -3700 is 0.05-1.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.05-0.25% based on total formulation.
