Afcona -3231

AFCONA -3231 by Afcona Additives is a organically modified polyether polysiloxane. Acts as a slip and levelling additive, designed mainly for metal and UV coatings. Due to its high surface activity, AFCONA-3231 can interfere with inter-coat adhesion when recoated without sanding. Offers less foam stabilizing effect and good compatibility. 0.05 – 0.50% is used on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.05 – 0.25% based on total formulation.
