Sun Chemical will show its many solutions for wide format applications at FESPA 2024. The event will be from 19-22 March 2024. It will be at the Amsterdam Convention Center in the Netherlands. Sun Chemical's stand is G41 (Hall 5). The theme is ‘Experience.’ Transformation.’
On display will be Sun Chemical’s wide format and super wide format inkjet inks. Sun Chemical will also exhibit textile inkjet inks, screen inks and industrial inks. This includes products from SunJet, Sun Chemical’s digital inkjet brand.
Inks for Low Indoor Emissions
Sun Chemical will promote its Streamline range of eco-solvent inkjet inks. The Streamline ink series has low odor chemistry. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low indoor emissions.
Streamline will showcase its wide format product solutions. They come in 'industry standard' cartridges and pouches. They are designed for easy installation.
With the continued drive for sustainability, the print industry is transforming. One major trend is towards aqueous ink technologies. Sun Chemical will promote its patented Streamline aqueous ink technology. It is for printing onto paper substrate. This includes billboard poster, corrugated, décor and wall covering markets.
Streamline aqueous inks offers high color strength. This delivers significant reductions in ink consumption and faster drying. The inks also offer better print finish. They have more vibrant colors and reduced energy consumption costs.
Digital Textile Inks
There is an increase popularity of new industrial 3.2m solvent inkjet presses. Streamline offers custom ink solutions. The inks support presses with Konica Minolta, Spectra Starfire, and Epson i3200 printheads. The latest addition to the range is Sun Chemical’s Streamline SGR. It's a solvent ink series for presses that use Ricoh Gen 5 printheads.
Sun Chemical will show its full range of digital inks for textile decoration. They work for applications such as sign & display, sportswear, fashion, and home textiles. Sun Chemical will highlight its new Xennia Jade inks. The inks are for direct to film (DTF) printing. The range includes CMYK and white inks. It also has the required resin powder. This delivers outstanding application performance and print reliability.
Other products will include the sublimation inks. These are ElvaJet Opal SB for Epson printheads and the hybrid sublimation ink - ElvaJet Topaz SC. ElvaJet Topaz SC offers great performance when printed to fabric or using a transfer print process. Sun Chemical will highlight the ElvaJet SR342 sublimation ink for higher viscosity printheads.
The expo will showcase inks for pigment, reactive, and acid. They offer the best color and application performance. Xennia Sapphire is a new range of pigment inks for mid and high viscosity printheads. They offer a more sustainable printing process. They use simple dry head fixation. They also make vibrant, strong prints on many materials.
Sun Chemical’s reactive inks, Xennia Amethyst Evo RC and the Xennia Agate acid inks for Kyocera will also be presented. Xennia Amethyst Evo offers unparallelled print and application performance with increased dye fixation. It has the potential to increase color gamut. It can also reduce the amount of dye washed from the fabric after fixation.
UV Curing Screen & Pad Printing Inks
SunJet is the global inkjet brand of Sun Chemical and DIC. It will show its newest inkjet chemistry developments at the event. These include collaborations with OEM partners, system integrators, and printhead manufacturers. They span many market sectors, including graphics, décor, textile, industrial and packaging.
Sun Chemical will also highlight its wide range of traditional and
UV curing screen and pad printing inks. The inks are suitable for industrial and graphic screen/pad applications. They are used in many markets, such as automotive, aerospace, printed electronics, packaging, and displays. They work on a variety of materials from paper to plastics and glass.
