Published on 2004-09-30. Author : SpecialChem

The global leader in UV-curable technology, Surface Specialties UCB has added to its product portfolio a new liquid photoinitiator which is easy to handle and to mix and which combines good surface and through cure.

Additol BCPK joins the family of photoinitiators, which are an essential ingredient for UV cured coatings, introduced by Surface Specialties UCB in 2003.

It is a liquid radical photoinitiator blend and is recommended for use in formulations containing Radcure oligomers and diluting acrylates.

The Additol range of photoinitators was introduced to complement Surface Specialties UCB's world-beating radiation curable products, including monomers, oligomers and reactive diluents, used for graphic arts and industrial coatings.

The Additol brand has become well established in a very short period of time because of the backing it has from Surface Specialties UCB's renowned high quality technical and service support.

Says Market Manager for Radcure, Egbert Boerrigter: "Additol has been well accepted by the market since its launch and the introduction of this new product is part of our on-going development and enhancement of the range."

Surface Specialties UCB is a world leader in the development and manufacture of technically innovative products and solutions for surface applications.
