Lubrizol has introduced Aptalon™ 8080HS, a high-solids polyurethane dispersion. Aptalon™ 8080HS is a PU dispersion with high biobased content designed for wood and metal applications. It is a self-crosslinking polyurethane dispersion crafted for clear wood finishes. Without crosslinkers, Aptalon™ 8080HS simplifies and lowers the risks of application associated with 2K systems.
New PU Dispersion Enables High-film Thickness Applications
The high-solids content in Aptalon™ 8080HS allows application of thicker films to achieve optimal performance. This can provide lower application labor steps, reduce job cost and faster return to service.
