Florida Power & Light Company Accept EPOX-Z NRG™ Cool Roof Coating from EPOX-Z

Published on 2011-02-01. Author : SpecialChem

FLORIDA -- EPOX-Z NRG™, the high performance, ZEROVOCs, solventless, Cool Roof coating, has been accepted by The Florida Power and Light Company's Roof Savings Program as an approved reflective roofing product. The Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) provides business incentives to offset a portion of the cost to make building improvements, based on use of more energy-efficient resources.

Businesses who install the EPOX-Z NRG™ reflective coating qualify for the roof savings program, an FPL incentive rebate of 45 cents per square foot-a significant portion of the cost to make energy saving building improvements.

"We are very excited to be included as part of the FPL's energy saving initiative, and we commend Florida Power and Light and other power companies who are incentivizing building owners for their efforts to conserve energy usage and reduce costs," offers Tony Camarota, president, CEO and inventor of the EPOX-Z Cool Roof solution.

EPOX-Z NRG™ has been accepted by the FPL as an approved installation based on its solar reflectance of 80 percent. "Installation of Cool Roof coatings can help businesses accelerate their energy saving return on investment," adds Camarota, "and we're pleased to partner with the FPL to help Florida building owners improve the energy efficiency of their buildings."
