Creative Materials introduces 125-09TS a highly abrasion resistant, flexible, solvent resistant radio opaque ink. This unique product is designed for application by screen printing, syringe dispensing and drop casting.
The high degree of solvent resistance allows for the use in a wide variety of medical device applications where visibility under X-Ray, CT, CAT Scan and mammography diagnostic procedures are critical.
Suitable for Medical Device Applications
125-09TS is a single component ink that has been utilized in prolonged & limited exposure applications including skin marker medical devices. The extremely high abrasion resistance and elastomeric properties of the 125-09TS ensures robustness and durability for long durations in harsh environments including but not limited to solvents and chemicals.
The product’s unique high degree of scratch resistant while being creased and folded surpasses other commercially available radio opaque inks. Applications for 125-09TS include medical tubing, catheters, balloons, disposables and electrodes.
125-09TS has been formulated for production environments where exposure to chemicals such as ketones, carbitol acetates and alcohols is important. Typical substrates used for this radio opaque ink includes urethanes, thermoplastic elastomers, polyester, polyimide, polyether block amide (Pebax), ceramics and certain metal oxide films.
