CHARLOTTE, NC -- BASF has launched a new literature system
that is designed to help paint formulators achieve the highest performance
possible from their low- to zero-volatile organic compound (VOC) architectural
coatings by using BASF's extensive line of Acronal Optive® all-acrylic
and Acronal® styrene acrylic latex polymers.
Employing the theme, "Opening the door to High Performance at Low
VOC", the new literature system makes it easy for formulation scientists
to quickly determine the Acronal Optive® or Acronal® latex polymer
needed to achieve high performance, as well as meet new, stringent VOC
requirements set by state regulatory authorities.
The information system includes the following components:
- A tri-fold pocket brochure that summarizes the full line of acrylic
and styrene acrylic latex polymers for paint;
- Single-page (front & back) technical data sheets;
- 8- to 12-page brochures with detailed performance data;
- Starter formulations;
- A loose-leaf binder to house the collateral system; and, if requested,
- A flash drive containing electronic versions of all print material.
Brochures with detailed performance data are available
for Acronal Optive® 110, 130, 230, 350, 410, and 510. Technical data
sheets are available for Acronal Optive® 110, 120, 220, 230, 350,
410, 500 and 600 all-acrylic latex polymers, and for Acronal® 296
D, NS 567, and S 760 styrene acrylic latex polymers.
