US Price Increase for Glutaraldehyde From Dow Biocides

Buffalo Grove, IL -- Effective September 1, 2005, Dow Biocides is announcing a five percent (5%) price increase on both list and off list prices for its entire Glutaraldehyde product portfolio in the United States. Glutaraldehyde is marketed under the following trade names:

  • AQUCAR™ 504, 514, 515, 545 and 550
  • Glutaraldehyde 25% and 50%
  • PIROR™ 850
  • UCARCIDE™ 14,15,25,45 and 50
  • UCARCIDE™ 225 and 250 Preservative
  • UCONEX™ 315 and 345

"This price increase supports our re-investment in regulatory data, registrations and capacity to meet the growing demand for our Glutaraldehyde products, assuring a sustainable long term offering," said Mike Lewis, North America sales and distribution manager.
