Safic-Alcan, a distributor of specialty chemicals, announces that it has acquired 100% of Southern Chemicals, a South African specialty chemical distributor in the region.
Southern Chemicals supplies industrial speciality chemicals and additives into industries such as polyurethane foams, industrial coatings, adhesives and elastomers.
Strategic Expansion for Growth
With warehousing capabilities in Durban, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and Cape town, Southern Chemicals is very well positioned to sell and distribute specialty chemicals and additives across the region.
