Rohm and Haas Company's Primary Materials Business Announces Price Increases

PHILADELPHIA -- Rohm and Haas Company's Primary Materials Business has announced price increases for customers in the United States and Canada. Prices will increase 4 to 7 percent for selected acrylic and styrene acrylic polymers effective January 1, 2008 or as contracts permit. These products include ACUMER™, ACUSOL™, DURAMAX™, OPTIDOSE™, ROMAX™, and TAMOL™ Dispersants, ACUSOL™ Opacifiers and ACUSOL™ Rheology Modifiers. The increases are required to offset the continuing escalation in petrochemical feedstock costs, caustic and energy.
