Reichhold Announces List and Off-List Price Increases on Coating Products in North America effective January 2nd, 2008

Research Triangle Park, NC -- Reichhold has announced a general price increase for coating products sold in North America or exported, effective for products shipped on or after January 2nd , 2008 or as contracts allow. Prices on solvent based, water based and water reducible products not mentioned below will increase a minimum of four cents per pound.

Epoxy resins, modified epoxy resins, curatives, polyurethane dispersions and powder products will increase between six and eight cents per pound. Vinyl acrylic latex and VAE latex will increase three cents per pound and 100% acrylic latex will increase four cents per pound. The recently imposed Linseed surcharge will be added to the base price of Linseed Oil containing products. Additional increases may be applied to these products based on other raw material increases

These increases are driven by the continuing cost escalation of the raw materials and ongoing shortages in the supply chain. Reichhold sales representatives will be contacting their accounts with specific details on the increase.
