Coatings to Add Durability, Protection and Luxurious Finishes
PPG will showcase its color-formulation and color-matching expertise along with its
exceptional range of gloss levels, textures and metallic finishes. Featured products at booth 7-4053 will include PPG SILVERSAN®, PPG ENVIROCRON™ HeatSense and PPG ERGOLUXE™ coatings.
Coatings on Display:
PPG ErgoLuxe™ Powder Coatings
-
They provide styling and sustainability benefits over traditional liquid or solvent-based coatings, with waste-saving, first-pass transfer efficiency rates of up to 85%.
-
An available PPG ErgoLuxe™ Eco formulation also contains up to 14% post-industrial recycled plastic (rPET).
-
The new powder coating technology also features reliable batch-to-batch consistency for color, gloss and application properties, with stain and fade resistance designed to last for years.
PPG Envirocron™ HeatSense Coatings
-
They deliver powder coating technology to heat-sensitive substrates, including wood composites and metals that are often used as office furniture, cabinetry, casework and more.
-
The coatings are available in a wide range of custom colors, glosses and textures, with sealed edges providing durable protection from heat, moisture, physical impacts and ultraviolet (UV) light.
PPG SilverSan® Coating
-
PPG SilverSan® coating, which is an antimicrobial-protected powder coating specifically formulated with silver ions that help protect the cured paint film from the growth of microbes that can damage coated surfaces.
-
The coatings can be formulated in many colors and in all PPG resin chemistries to prevent corrosion, discoloration and unpleasant odors caused by the buildup of bacteria on coated surfaces.
“
As the premier event in the commercial design industry, NeoCon plays an important role in highlighting the trends that will shape the future of furnishings for a variety of environments,” said Shelley Verdun, PPG business manager, powder, Americas.
“The coatings set to be featured in PPG’s booth are developed to meet these trends, offering a range of luxurious colors and finishes and benefits that include reclaimable overspray, recycled content and high transfer efficiency.”
