LANXESS breaks ground for the building of APAC Application Development Center (AADC) at Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP). The AADC is the first project to be settled in at Shanghai International Chemical New Materials Innovation Center.
Reaching Increased Demand for Localized Product Grades
The groundbreaking marks milestone in the company’s journey of continuous growth in China. AADC will strengthen LANXESS’ capabilities to answer the increasing need for localized product grades.

The setup of AADC is an important part of LANXESS’s development plan in Asia. To promote the synergy between the business units in APAC, LANXESS established a new regional structure in the Asia-Pacific region in 2018. Headquartered in Shanghai, the region covers Greater China, Japan, South Korea and the ASEAN countries.
