KCC and LG Chem sign a business agreement (MOU) for research and development of technologies related to eco-friendly materials and paints at the KCC Central Research Center in Mabuk-dong, Yongin-si.
Expanding Environmentally Friendly Products Usage
Through this MOU, KCC and LG Chem will apply eco-friendly raw materials based on carbon dioxide conversion or microbial fermentation to paint resin synthesis. It is to join forces in research and development in various paint fields such as automotive, automotive parts, industrial and mobile use.
KCC expects that through collaboration with LG Chem, it will be able to expand environmentally friendly products and reduce the energy required to produce products.

KCC is a developer of eco-friendly water-based paints such as Supro Putty Washable, low-temperature curing paint for electric vehicles, and water-based paint water mix for automobile repair. KCC is striving for ESG management by forming an Environmental Safety Committee and paying company-wide attention.
