IMCD announces the opening of a new coatings & construction laboratory in Vienna, Austria. This facility will specialize in decorative paints and industrial coatings. It will allow IMCD to support its partners in Southeast Europe (SEE) to develop new formulations in line with current market trends. IMCD is a distributor, formulator, and solutions provider of specialty chemicals and ingredients.
Creating Sustainable & Innovative Solutions for SEE Region
In addition to serving as a laboratory, the facility will also be used as a training center for customers and employees. It is equipped with an analytical area, a testing area, and a spraying chamber to apply finished formulations.
Johann Milchram, managing director of IMCD SEE emphasized the importance of supporting customers with new formulation developments. He said, “

The laboratory was officially inaugurated on 19
th April 2023 in Markt Allhau, Austria.
