Evonik has inaugurated its new office in Bangladesh to further strengthen its local presence in the fast developing South Asia market. The new office is located in Dhaka, the country’s capital and largest city.
More than 10 Years of Operations
Evonik has been operating in Bangladesh for more than 10 years, supplying its global portfolio of products and solutions to customers, mainly in the poultry feed and textile industries. Furthermore, Evonik is also focused on pharmaceutical and paint and coating applications.

We have a long-standing engagement with Bangladesh and given the positive economic trajectory here in recent years, we believe this is the right time for us to explore greater opportunities for growth with a strong local support,” said Peter Meinshausen, Regional President of Evonik Asia Pacific South during the opening ceremony.
Plans to Expand in Different Growth Sectors
The strategic location of premises in Dhaka will also allow Evonik to introduce additional products and strategically expand its capabilities in other growth sectors.
