Eastman Increases Glycol Prices on January 1

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Jan. 1. These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

Eastman HPHP Glycol (Hydroxypivalyl Hydroxypivalate), all forms: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.10/lb ($US 0.22/kg) globally.

Eastman Neo-Pentyl Glycol, all forms: Off-list price increase of $US 0.07/lb ($US 0.16/kg and EUR 0.13/kg) globally. In addition, Eastman will be removing the $0.03/lb temporary price allowances that were applied to sales in North America during the fourth quarter.
