DuPont Powder Coatings recently participated in Powder Coating 2004 - a trade show and technical conference devoted solely to powder coatings, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The DPC exhibit was anchored by Jeff Gordon's DuPont #24 car, where visitors had the opportunity to have their picture taken with the vehicle. Visitors were also invited to race opponents on a small-scale replica of the Indianapolis Brickyard 500 racetrack.

New technologies and services were showcased at the DuPont exhibit, including the Star CoaterSM loyalty program for custom coaters, Blaze Illusion one coat special effect coatings, and a revolutionary chrome replacement process that uses powder coatings in conjunction with physical vapor deposition (PVD).

DuPont also participated in various speeches during the technical conferences ranging from "Developing a Powder Specification", "Powder Trek", and "New Innovative Applications for Powder Coatings."
