Dow Announces Price Increase for Glycol Ethers

MIDLAND, Mich. - (March 10, 2003) - Effective April 1, 2003, The Dow Chemical Company will increase list and off-list selling prices by US$0.04/lb for Glycol Ethers P-Series and E-Series products.

The price increase is being implemented in response to continued rising costs for energy and key raw materials, such as propylene, ethylene, and butanol.

With products benefiting more than 15 different markets, including paints and coatings, household and institutional cleaners, inks, and electronics, Dow has the largest portfolio of glycol ethers products worldwide.
