Denise Hubbard Named Regional Manufacturing Director for Arkema Inc.’s Organic Peroxide Operations in the Americas, Site Manager at Crosby, Texas

Arkema Inc. has named Denise Hubbard as regional manufacturing director for its organic peroxides operations in the Americas. She succeeds Edward Laub, who retired March 1, 2006. In addition, Hubbard will serve as plant manager for Arkema's Crosby, Texas, organic peroxides manufacturing facility.

In her role of manufacturing director, Hubbard directs the operation of Arkema's organic peroxides manufacturing facilities in Crosby, Texas; Geneseo, New York; El Chapo, Mexico; and Rio Claro, Brazil. She will drive the strategic initiatives related to manufacturing operations and operational excellence and reliability while maintaining Arkema's commitment to safety. As Crosby plant manager, she will manage the daily operations of the facility, which employs 78 people and has been an integral part of the Crosby-area economy since 1966. Hubbard reports to Mike Scott, organic peroxides general manager, Americas.

Hubbard comes to Arkema from FMC Corporation, where she was a regional operations manager in FMC's agricultural business. She has also held positions as plant manager, safety manager, and financial analyst with FMC.

Hubbard holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a B.Sc. in Business with an Accounting emphasis from California State University, Long Beach.

Arkema's Luperox® line of organic peroxides are used in the production of acrylics, elastomers, polyesters, polystyrenes and polyvinyl chloride. Many household and consumer goods, ranging from boat hulls, whirlpool baths and automotive coatings to golf balls, candles, floor polishes and acne medications, are manufactured with Arkema's organic peroxide products.
