Coatex Hikes Thickener & Dispersant Costs for Coatings Market in the NAFTA Region

CHESTER, S.C. -- Effective March 1, 2012 or as contracts allow, COATEX Inc will increase the list and off-list selling prices of its Thickener and Dispersant product lines sold to the Coatings Market as defined below for the NAFTA Region:

Coatings Market Increase
Acrylic Based Dispersants +$0.05/LB
Acrylic Based Thickeners +$0.04/LB
All Other Products +$0.03/LB

This increase is necessary to respond to increasing raw material costs needed to manufacture their product lines.
