BASF appoints Christopher Hummel Product Marketing Manager for Architectural Coatings

FLORHAM PARK, NJ -- BASF has appointed Christopher J. Hummel as Product Marketing Manager in the BASF Functional Polymers Architectural Coatings business located in Charlotte, North Carolina. With 18 years of chemical industry experience, Hummel comes to BASF from the Huntsman Polyurethanes business (formerly ICI) where most recently he was Sales and Commercial Manager in the Coatings, Adhesives and Elastomers group, located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Prior to that, he held various positions in sales and marketing in several locations.

Hummel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University, in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Widener University, in Chester, Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Account.
