MKC™ is a range of methyl silicate oligomers formed by the partial hydrolysis of tetramethoxysilane. As an additive in paints, it produces a hydrophilic surface that is highly stain-resistant with the self-cleaning effect. MKC™ products can be used in exterior paints for buildings (with contamination-resistant and self-cleaning effect), pre-coat paints for metals and as organic-inorganic hybrid coating materials.
