Coatings ingredients supplied by UBE
ETERNATHANE® is a series of polycarbonate polyol-based prepolymers by
UBE
. They are isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymers with customizable polycarbonate diol and isocyanate composition. The prepolymers are available in a wide range of free NCO content.
The prepolymers are used for polyurethane-based coating applications to achieve maximized durability in harsh conditions over time. Properties of ETERNATHANE®-based polyurethanes can be adjusted by using a standard or a mixture of different curative agents, such as
ETERNACOLL®
polycarbonate diols.
