Durazane®

Durazane® is a range of high-performance binders (polysilazane resin) or additives (particle-based solution) for protective coatings. These additives are used to achieve ultimate surface protection in a multitude of high-value applications such as automotive coatings, aerospace coatings, exterior and interior architectural coatings and industrial coatings.

Organic polysilazanes work by forming dense ceramic layers with high temperature-resistance and provide excellent protection against corrosion and weathering. While inorganic polysilazanes are used to add anti-scratch properties and excellent chemical and thermal resistance to a wide range of substrates.

Durazane® additives (functionalized particles-based) are used in high-gloss, solvent-borne topcoats for improved scratch resistance and gloss retention.
