Carboset® 2992

Carboset® 2992 by Lubrizol is a high solid, water-based acrylic polyurethane hybrid emulsion. It is developed specifically for roof, building facade coatings and low-VOC applications. It offers toughness and high durability against wear & weather. It shows excellent blend of elasticity and tensile strength. It retains protective properties when surfaces expand and contract during heating and cooling periods. It also offers protection against leaks. It exhibits excellent low temperature flexibility performance, crack bridging capability and low water uptake. It also exhibits capillary absorption that provides dimensional stability. It is suitable for vertical elastomeric coatings for facades and other cementatious structures. Carboset® 2992 is ASTM D-6083 compliant capable.
