SILIKOPHEN® P 40/W by Evonik is methylphenyl polysiloxane resin. Used as a waterborne binder for anti-corrosion coatings and heat-resistant decorative coatings. Offers very good air-drying properties. Exhibits good compatibility with organic polymer emulsions. Is water-reducible. Provides corrosion protection upto 650°C. It can be cold-blended with organic binders (alkyds or acrylics) and are suitable for manufacturing coatings with numerous properties. SILIKOPHEN® P 40/W has a storage stability of 6 months.
