DOWSIL™ RSN-0808 Resin

DOWSIL™ RSN-0808 Resin by Dow is a silanol-functional silicone resin in xylene. It provides excellent flexibility, gloss retention, color retention and weatherability. Exhibits corrosion- and heat resistance. Offers useful leafing properties with metallic pigmented paints. Applications include protective coatings on outdoor signs, motor frames, air conditioning units and other such equipment that can be baked at elevated temperatures. DOWSIL™ RSN-0808 Resin is recommended for decorative finishes on space heaters, incinerators, cloth driers & stoves. Recommended usage level is 0.1 - 0.2%. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
