DOWSIL™ 402 LS Additive

DOWSIL™ 402 LS Additive by Dow is a silicone polyether copolymer-based, BTX-free additive that has multi-functional benefits including improvements in flow & leveling, slip, anti-blocking, and applied hiding. It offers reduced coefficient of friction and blocking resistance up to 40°C. It contains no solvent, no benzene, toluene & xylene. It is effective at low addition levels. This additive shows good compatibility with water-borne acrylics. DOWSIL™ 402 LS Additive is used in solvent-borne, water-borne and radiation-curable coatings. Recommended for architectural, industrial metal & wood, inks and overprint varnish and pigmented & clear formulations. It is recommended to be used at approximately 0.1 to 1.0% as supplied, based on the total formulation (amount required depends on the type of formulation).
