ESACOTE® PU 850

ESACOTE® PU 850 by Lamberti is an anionic waterborne dispersion of an aliphatic polyurethane based on polyether diols. It can be used as binder for primer on bioriented polypropylene or bioriented polyester before metallization with aluminum (or aluminum oxide), functionalizing over print varnishes, heat sealable resins.

• It is a solvent-free product that is neutralized with triethylamine and gives a medium hard, highly flexible, transparent and glossy film.
• It shows good adhesion, good overcoatability, overprintability and capability to receive surface treatments.
• It can be used as unique resin or in combination with other water based resins.
• It can be crosslinked with water dispersible polyisocyanates, melamine resins, polyaziridines or carbodiimides.
• It is suitable for flexo and rotogravure lamination inks.
• ESACOTE® PU 850 has a shelf life of 12 months and is available in Taiwan, Japan & Europe.
