Lapox® P-3 (ARP-11)

Lapox® P-3 (ARP-11) by Atul is an unmodified low molecular weight solid epoxy resin (type-1) based on bisphenol-A. It provides good flow, leveling, good storage stability of powders, high impact strength and very good flexibility of films. It can be cured with various hardeners like polyamines, polyamides, phenalkamines and cycloaliphatic amines for room temperature cure system. It can also be formulated to backing enamels using phenolic and melamine hardeners at elevated temperature. Lapox® P-3 (ARP-11) is recommended for epoxy-polyester hybrid powder coatings and solvent-based protective coating applications. It has a shelf-life of 2 years.
