SYCO® 142A

SYCO® 142A by SYCO is a VOC-free, high-performance coalescing agent from renewable sources that provides high efficiency in reducing MFFT (Minimum Film Formation Temperature). Recommended for high, medium and low gloss coatings.

• It is suggested for high, medium and low PVC systems, with the most varied types of resins, such as acrylic styrene, V.E.O.V.A. and acrylic vinyl.
• It imparts low or no odor to the coating and contributes to low or VOC-free formulations, reducing the dosage up to 25% when compared to traditional coalescents.
• It shows resistance to wet abrasion, cracking & weathering.
• It has an excellent finish, offers coverage enhancement and great film leveling.
• It reduces TAC and water absorption in spackling paste & acrylic, has a great spread rate, and allows adjustment of open time & brightness.
• It can be used in sparkling pastes and textures.
• The recommended dosage level of SYCO® 142A is 4.00-8.00% over resin solids.
