Polytrol GFT

Rheology modifier. Used in non-aqueous coatings and inks. Provides a high degree of thixotropy for pigmented systems containing aliphatic and aromatic solvents with oils, resins, varnishes and a polymer vehicle. Disperses very quickly. Possesses effective swelling and gelling. Increases viscosity. Offers rapid development of thixotropy, pigment suspension, optimum balance between sag control and leveling, penetration control, no affect on color, gloss, water resistance or durability and maximum rheological value. Use level : 0.5-1.5% wt on the total composition. Applications: architectural paints, sealers, stains, primers and undercoats, maintenance paints, marine primers and finishes, industrial coatings and product finishes, road marking paints and printing inks.
