Polytrol FT

Rheology modifier. Used in non-aqueous coatings and inks. Provides a high degree of thixotropy for pigmented systems containing aliphatic and aromatic solvents with oils, resins, varnishes and a polymer vehicle. pigmented systems containing aliphatic and aromatic solvents with oils, resins, varnishes and a polymer vehicle. Increases viscosity particularly in the ultra low shear range. Provides pigment suspension. Prevents sag. Controls penetration. Shows no affect on color, gloss, water resistance or durability. Use level : 0.25-1.25% wt on the total composition. Applications: architectural paints including sealers, stains primers and undercoats, maintenance paints, marine primers and finishes, industrial coatings and product finishes, traffic paints and printing inks.
