PAT-ADD FL 9

PAT-ADD FL 9 by PATCHAM FZC is a solution of polyacrylate. It is a liquid flow / levelling agent and anti-cratering additive for use in solvent-borne systems, notably industrial coatings and inks. It is silicon- and fluorine-free. It contributes to the formation of smooth films, improved appearance, free of imperfections, such as pinholes, orange peel or craters. PAT-ADD FL 9 is a very efficient film surface tension modifier. It contributes defoaming, smooth film surface with high distinctness of image (DOI) and high transparency in lacquers and clear films. It is effective in a wide diversity of paint systems, incl. 2-pack-, stoving-, air-drying-, industrial paints, as based on EP, Acrylics, TPA, NC, PE. PAT-ADD FL 9 is suitable for use in pigmented as well as clear coating systems and may be used alone or in conjunction with strong film surface tension reducing levelling agents, such as Pat-Add LE 1010 or –LE 1020, if additional film surface tension reduction would be required. It is typically used at a dosage in between 0.4 to 2.0%, as calculated on the total weight of paint formulation. It is a REACH compliant.
