PAT-ADD DA 2025

PAT-ADD DA 2025 by PATCHAM FZC is polymeric acid ester of long chain alcohols. Acts as a wetting and dispersing agent. It is most effective for main inorganic pigments, including titanium dioxide as well as extenders. It reduces viscosity of the pigment dispersion in PVC plastisol, improves shelf stability and appearance features such as gloss, levelling, pigment homogeneity, thus preventing pigment floating, flocculation and flooding. The weak acidic character of PAT-ADD DA 2025 makes this additive ideal to be used for acid catalyzed systems. Furthermore, PAT-ADD DA 2025 has shown excellent performances, if used in conjunction with polymeric dispersing agents. It optimises the mixing process, enabling high pigment loading and best color development. The optimal amount of PAT-ADD DA 2025 to be used is system related, but generally is between 0.4 and 2.0%, calculated on the total weight of PVC formulation. It is a REACH compliant.
