PAT-ADD DA 401

Polymeric dispersing agent for use in waterborne industrial paints, gloss dispersion paints, decorative paints, pigment dispersions and printing inks. It is the most effective dispersant for the dispersion of inorganic and moderately polar pigments, including carbon blacks, in aqueous systems. Shows strong interacting and high bonding strength onto charged surfaces, such as from inorganic pigments and polar treated organic pigments. Once adsorbed the multi-functional PAT-ADD DA 401 molecules are unlikely to be desorbed, even on dilution conditions. These unique properties explain the excellent performance of PAT-ADD DA 401 if used in industrial paints and high loaded pigment concentrates. It is designed for use in a wide range of waterborne industrial paints, such as acrylics, stoving systems, 2-pack systems, epoxies, polyesters etc. Possesses strong prevention of pigment flocculation, floating, flooding, and pigment settling.
