PAT-ADD DA 1804

Polyester compound with pigment affinic group. Acts as a wetting and dispersing agent. Shows strong adsorption properties onto a wide variety of pigment surfaces, contributing to best dispersion stability. It is strongly adsorbed onto inorganic pigments and extenders, contributing to enhanced sterical stabilization against re-flocculation. Optimizes the milling process, enabling high pigment loading. Provides excellent color development. Possesses strong prevention of pigment flocculation, floating, flooding, and pigment settling. Has excellent compatibility with alkyd resins, thus minimal risks of causing unwanted side effects. Also possesses minimal effect on heat stability if used in plasticized PVC systems. It is multifunctional and compatible with a wide range of solvent borne paint systems. However, PAT-ADD DA 1804 is particularly effective as dispersant for inorganic pigments in air-drying alkyd paints.
