PAT-ADD AF 21

PAT-ADD AF 21 by PATCHAM FZC is a defoamer for use in waterborne coatings like dispersion paints as well as in aqueous inks and pigment dispersions. It is a mineral oil based compound, showing extremely strong interface activity. It is water-dispersible, but requires strong incorporation forces in order to be properly dispersed. It is most suitable for use in high PVC-dispersion paints and flat paints. It is required only in low dosages. It is most effective in knocking down foam and is best to avoid any presence of “rest-foam”. It is strongly effective in combating foaming as generated by organic surfactants. It is non-ionic and has good shelf stability. PAT-ADD AF 21 is very versatile in application and is efficient in various waterborne systems for defoaming and anti-foaming purposes during manufacturing and application. Its recommended dosage is between 0.1 and 0.5%. It is a REACH compliant.
