Micropro 440W

Micropro 440W by Micro Powders is a modified polypropylene wax. Provides consistent gloss control with improved mar-, abrasion, metal marking- and abrasion resistance. It exhibits uniform gloss reduction with good burnish resistance in low or medium gloss finishes and a smooth surface "feel". The low density will keep silica matting additives in suspension. It will not powder or chalk in exterior applications. It is formulated for stability in water-based inks, paints and coatings. It is used in industrial- (plastic, metal and leather), powder-, wood-, floor-, interior and exterior can and container coatings, stains, sealers and varnishes and printing inks and OPV's (flexo and gravure). Micropro 440W has a recommended additional level of 0.5-2.0% in mar and abrasion resistance and 2.0-5.0% in gloss control.
